Tea tree oil is extracted from the tree Melaleuca alternifoliais which rampantly grows in Australia. Terpenes is a bacteria-fighting substance that is contained in this product. Bacteria and deep-seated dirt are the usual reasons behind the growth of acne. The substance is effective in killing or weakening the bacteria so that your protective antibodies can destroy them. How To Get Rid Of Acne Easily

There are many different kinds of acne and most people suffer from at least one of them. The most common kinds of acne are whiteheads and blackheads. These can be removed because they are located near the surface of the skin and can be easily treated with a topical acne medication. Cystic nodules are located deep in the skin and do not have head. This makes them impossible to extract or to be reached by a topical acne medication. This kind of acne can be extremely painful and scarring.

In order to get rid of cystic nodules you have to go to a dermatologist. Before you pick your dermatologist make sure that they prescribe Accutane and administer cortisone shots. This will insure you are going to see a dermatologist who knows how to get rid of acne. One of my friends spent years going to a dermatologist who specialized in anti aging and had no idea how to get rid of pimples effectively. He spent a lot of time and money with no long-term results.  In order to avoid this situation call many dermatologists and ask the people at the front desk those two questions until you find one that answers yes to both.

Cortisone is the best acne spot treatment. It occurs naturally occurring in the adrenal glands located above the kidneys. Cortisone promotes healing and reduces swelling. This is the easiest way to get rid of cystic nodule in a few minutes. Getting an injection in your face sounds intense but it is actually rather painless. The needle doesn’t go very deep and it only last a second, it feels like you are being pinched.

Cortisone shots are a great way to get rid of nodules before prom, graduation or any event where you will be photographed a lot.

If you have tried at least two prescribe acne medications and you still have severe acne you may be eligible for an Accutane prescription.  Accutane is an effective way to clear up your skin.  This is truly an acne miracle drug. The side effects list of Accutane is long and very odd.  They include depression, hair loss, dizziness and the list goes on.  Most people experience the  side effect of  dry cracked lips and are easily sunburned.  Aquaphor is an  excellent product to help moisturize the lips and keep them from cracking.
It is important to use a follow up plan when taking Accutane.  For some people the results of a course of Accutane will heal acne permanently but for others acne will return unless a plan is set in place to keep it at bay. Some people who have taken Accutane, will go for several years without any skin problems and then the acne will return. So be sure to discuss this with your physician. Together you can put a plan in place to manage your acne for the long term.
